Lefra presents this year's Christmas Spectacular (Kersfees Skouspel), Soputh Africa's favourite Christmas celebration! More than 15 top artists are to perform in this production that takes place in the Grand Arena at GrandWest on Saturday, 14 December at 20:00, and then at the Sun Arena, Time Square, Pretoria on Monday, 16 December at 15:00. Jaconell Mouton of Noot vir Noot fame is the musical director and Frans Swart, well-known as the South Africa's king of farces, is the director. As with previous years, 2019's Christmas Spectacular boasts a full band.

Lefra Productions is proud to announce that DANA WINNER is coming to South Africa as special guest artist in this year's CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR/ KERSFEES SKOUSPEL, which is to take place at the Sun Arena @ Time Square, Pretoria at 15:00 on 16 December 2018. Frans Swart, Managing Director of Lefra Communication and Marketing, says he is very excited that Ms Winner has agreed to be in this year's CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR. "Lefra did a wonderful tour with Dana Winner 10 years ago. We did 25 shows in 30 days - all of them sold out! She is definitely one of the most talented singers in the world, and we are privileged to welcome her to South Africa again. And all the more so with the cream of more than 17 South African musicians on one stage."

RSG and Lefra Productions incredibly successful Oppiwater Arts Festival sails from 15 - 20 April 2018 this year on the MSC Sinfonia from Durban to Mozambique. The main event is a fully fledged arts festival on board the ship with more than twenty top Afrikaans productions, which have just been announced.

Bobby van Jaarsveld is to perform at the opening of the new Meat World in the Valley View Shopping Centre on 1 April as part of the Meat Word Music Festival. The show starts at 09:00 and music fans are welcome to bring camping chairs and settle down to enjoy what promises to be a wonderful event.

Lefra Productions and RSG's popular Oppiwater Arts Festival, which is presented on board the luxurious MSC Sinfonia, has just been nominated for a Fiesta Award as the most popular festival in 2016. The festival is unique, with no similar festival presented on any other cruiseliner worldwide.

RSG and Lefra Productions's fourth Oppiwater Arts Festival take place next year from April 30 to May 5 aboard the luxurious MSC Sinfonia. The OPPIWATER ARTS is a unique festival with more than 20 different productions that each play a few performances in the various theatres and venues on the MSC Sinfonia.

Meat World at the Springs Market will once again hold a music festival, this time on 2 April from 09:00. The event is free, with big stars performing throughout the event and a Ford Figo up for grabs.

Lefra Productions is bringing six of its top productions of this year to the Clover Aardklop National Arts Festival. In a first for the festival, Lefra Productions will have the full use of the Totius Hall on the PUK campus.

Comedians Hannes Brümmer and Melt Sieberhagen are all set to host AFRIKAANSE MUSIEKFEES 13 this year. This celebration of local music boasts the cream of the crop of Afrikaans singers, including Bobby van Jaarsveld, Bianca le Grange, Jak de Priester, Jannie Moolman, DJ Ossewa, Hercules en Jasmyn, Lance James, Arina de Witt, Pieter Erasmus, Alwyn Oberholster, Elizma Theron and Carly Baily.

It all began on August 31, 2002: Lefra Production staged its first Afrikaans music festival in the Big Top Arena at Carnival City. Thirteen years later, bookings are open for the AFRIKAANSE MUSIEKFEES 13, which wil take place on Saturday, September 4 ay 19:00.
