Gibney Company's first national tour continues this week with stops in Los Angeles, CA (Jan 20, 2023); Lone Tree, CO (Jan 27, 2023); Provo, UT (Feb 3 & 4, 2023); Des Moines, IA (Feb 24, 2023); Tel Aviv, Israel (Feb 28 – Mar 2); Purchase, NY (Mar 11, 2023); Annandale-on-Hudson, NY (Mar 15, 2023) and Boston, MA (Mar 17-19, 2023).

Gibney, the New York City based dance and social justice organization, presents new works by Gibney Company Artistic Associates Alexander Anderson and Jie-Hung Connie Shiau and UNA Productions led by Artistic Director and Choreographer Chuck Wilt.

Gibney Company's 2022-23 performance season begins tonight with its debut at New York City Center's annual Fall for Dance Festival, which will feature the Company in the North American and Company premiere of Johan Inger's Bliss (Sept. 21 and 22, 2022).

Gibney Company has announced its summer 2022 season in New York City with a program of three world premieres by internationally recognized choreographers Rena Butler, Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, and Yin Yue at New York Live Arts, June 14 through 18.

Hubbard Street, a well-established Contemporary Dance Company presents an interesting collage of dance pieces that are demanding technique-wise yet so fluid and rhythmic they make it look effortless and fresh. I say collage because the evening painted a bigger picture through each piece, making it complete by the finish. The sixteen dancers are amazing physical interpreters of a feeling, a mood, an emotion, a vibe. They are strong, versatile and vibrant. The pieces by themselves are each complex, deep, bold, unique; with maximum controlled energy, extreme focus and inner and outer strength required, or rather, mandatory to perform them. That verbiage might seem a bit jumbled, but it's what I felt after seeing these dancers perform... (That's my stream-of-consciousness statement)

On Monday, September 26, 2016, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago was honored to welcome Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator and original star ofHamilton: An American Musical, to its West Loop facility, the Hubbard Street Dance Center, located at 1147 West Jackson Boulevard. More than 160 invited guests included students and families participating in Hubbard Street's Youth Dance Programs; members of Hubbard Street's Junior Ensemble, Hubbard Street 2 and the artists of its world-renowned main company; staff members and special guests; individual and foundation supporters of its Education Programs; and Season 38 Spotlight Ball attendees who made donations at the organization's annual gala.

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, one of the world's premier dance organizations, together with event chair Richard L. Rodes and Meg Siegler Callahan, chair of Hubbard Street's board of directors, hosted the Season 36 Spotlight Ball on Monday, May 19 at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park. The highly acclaimed contemporary dance companies Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Hubbard Street 2 return to MCA Stage for the second danc(e)volve: New Works Festival. They perform new works created by rising choreographers within the company and former main company member Robyn Mineko Williams. The two-week long festival features seven new works under consideration to become a part of Hubbard Street's active repertoire.
