nocturne Presents WITNESS THE BEGINNING Tonight


nocturne is proud to present their debut creation, Witness the Beginning, an immersive experience that examines humanity in its purest form. The performance will occur for one-night-only tonight, October 10, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. The event will take place in a secret Brooklyn warehouse near the Gowanus Canal. The exact location will be revealed to the public one week before the show. Audience members are invited to stay after the performance for a post-show celebration with an open bar, live music by Alter, and a DJ set by PennyWild, both New York-based artists.

The annual series, featuring lightly staged readings of two plays, explores the intersection of classical and contemporary theater and engages artists and audiences in an open dialogue about the place of Shakespeare in today's society.

Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announces the opening of Pygmalion, the Williamstown Theatre Festival's fourth production of the 2013 season. Pygmalion, celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, plays on the Main Stage from tonight, July 18 through July 27, following July 17 preview performances.

Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announced today the full cast and creative team for the fourth production of the 2013 season: Pygmalion will be presented on the Main Stage from July 17 - 27 (opening July 18 at 7:30 p.m.).

The Flea Theater presents the New York premiere of Restoration Comedy by Pultizer Prize-finalist Amy Freed. It will be directed by Ed Sylvanus Iskandar, a 2012 Drama Desk Award nominee for These Seven Sicknesses, and stars The Bats, the resident Acting Company at The Flea.
