National Sawdust, the acclaimed non-profit that commissions, produces, and presents genre-spanning new music and interdisciplinary works, has announced that it has purchased its building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and revealed the programming that will animate the venue this fall.

 DANCE NOW Boston arrives at The Dance Complex in Cambridge, MA for its 9th season  with two weekends of performances, May 13-14 and May 20-21. 

The Bang Group will present the 20th annual production of Nut/Cracked, the company's witty and subversive take on The Nutcracker, at The Flea Theater December 15–17 (Thursday and Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 3pm and 7pm).

10 Hairy Legs, the male repertory dance company, will make its dèbut with Public Works' Musical Adaptation of HERCULES at NYC's time-honored summer performing arts space, the Delacorte Theater, as cameo artists for this new production. Performance time is 8:00 pm. There are two ways to access free tickets: through an advance digital lottery and entering an in-person standby lottery. As part of its Dance-mopolitan Featured Artist Series, DANCE NOW is pleased to present acclaimed choreographer Zvi Gotheiner's 2016 work On the Road, a multimedia dance piece inspired by Jack Kerouac's famed novel of the same name. The HIV Experience Resources Organization (HERO) has announced that on October 26th 2015 at 8pm it will present, in partnership with Broadway Cares, Equity Fights AIDS, and in association with Stage48, the second annual "BROADWAY AND BALLET, HERO AWARDS," at Stage 48, 605 West 48th Street in Manhattan. The event will benefit HERO, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that helps newly diagnosed and people living with HIV/AIDS. www.hivhero.org

Fire Island Dance Festival returned for its 21st edition July 17-19, 2015, with some of the most talked-about world-class dance companies, raising a record-breaking $544,555 for Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
