Ala is a Ridgecrest native currently earning his BFA in Musical Theatre at CSU Fullerton. Regional credits include La Cage (Mercedes) and White Christmas at San Diego Musical Theatre; Shrek (Sticks Pig), Peter Pan (Pirate/Indian), The Music Man, All Shook Up, Catch Me if You Can, and Spamalot at Moonlight Stage Productions; The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert), Once on this Island (Agwe), and Guys and Dolls (Sky) at MiraCosta College; The Drowsy Chaperone (Aldolpho) at CSUF.

TARZAN THE MUSICAL to Continue Moonlight Stage Productions 42nd Season This Summer


Disney’s Tarzan the Musical will run at Moonlight Stage Productions July 19-August 5, 2023, at 8 p.m.

First, the Moonlight celebrates the 40th anniversary of its founding in 1981 and its subsequent productions of 219 shows both at the Moonlight Amphitheatre and the AVO Playhouse. Its second milestone is its return to the stage following a near year-and-a-half nationwide shutdown of live events during the pandemic.

This Tony Award-winning musical features music and lyrics by Harry Warren and Al Dubin, book by Michael Stewart (Hello Dolly, Bye Bye Birdie) and Mark Bramble (Barnum), directed by James Vasquez.
