The Valencia College Spring Choral Concert, which will be held at Valencia's East Campus on April 5 at 7:30 p.m., pays tribute to Valencia College's 50th anniversary with a special homecoming by Valencia alumni.

The concert, which features the Valencia Singers and the college's Contemporary Ensemble, will also feature special guest appearances by Valencia College alumni, including Reina Powell and Emily Grainger.

Valencia Singers will be performing choral works by Poelinitz, Mulholland, Powell, Tavener, Hogan, Snyder, Dr. David Brunner of UCF, and Valencia music faculty member Alan Gerber.

The college's Contemporary Ensemble will be performing musical theater selections from Broadway shows and films including: "Waitress," "Dogfight," "Moana," "Big Fish," "Hamilton," "Beauty and the Beast," "Bright Star," and "City of Angels."

The alumni will perform works from great operas.

The concert will be held in the Performing Arts Center on Valencia's East Campus, 701 N. Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando. Admission is free to the public.
