The Henegar Announces 2016-2017 Season

Continuing with its tradition of offering new and interesting theatrical productions to its patrons, The Henegar will be the first Florida Theatre to produce the new musicals, The Witches of Eastwick and It Shoulda Been You.

It will also be one of the first in the nation to bring the blockbuster Disney musical Hunchback of Notre Dame to the stage.

Christmas Story the Musical and the musical Hands on a Hardbody round out the balance of the season.

In our black box Upstairs at the Henegar, we will offer Brevard County Premieres of Hand To God and the musical Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill!

The Witches of Eastwick

Recently closed on Broadway this year, "Hand To God" introduces us to Jason, after the death of his Father, finds an outlet for his anxiety at the Christian Puppet Ministry, in the devoutly religious, relatively quiet small town of Cypress, Texas. Jason's complicated relationships with the town pastor, the school bully, the girl next door, and-most especially-his mother are thrown into upheaval when Jason's puppet, Tyrone, takes on a shocking and dangerously irreverent personality all its own. "Hand to God" explores the startlingly fragile nature of faith, morality, and the ties that bind us. This show is intended for ADULTS ONLY!
