It's 1958 and the "Girl Most Likely to Succeed" decides to pen a "How To" dating manual designed to help her less fortunate classmates find the boys of their dreams while saving democracy at the same time. In JOYCE JACKSON'S GUIDE TO DATING, a funny and pointed musical parody of an actual dating manual from the 1950s, audiences will find out if the class wallflower might bloom, if a cheerleader dating a nerd could ever spell success, and if the Big Man on Campus and his ambitious girl can show R-E-S-T-R-A-I-N-T.

The cast features Alexa Hope Neilen as Joyce Jackson, Bobby Hogan as Mix Lawrence, Eva Gluck as Nancy Dale, Ricky Cona as Ted Cook, Amelia Bryant as Frieda MacDougal, Marissa Ann Volpe as Louise Benedict, and Jenna Coleman as Betty Miller.

JOYCE JACKSON'S GUIDE TO DATING has costumes by Kyla Swanberg, lighting by Roy Brown and set design by Bonnie Sprung. Adrian Griffey is the Production Stage Manager.

A concert version was presented at Feinstein's/54 Below in April of 2017 featuring Teal Wicks (Finding Neverland, Wicked, Jekyll & Hyde), David Josefsberg (Honeymoon in Vegas), Jake Boyd (Wicked, Sweeney Todd, Rock of Ages), Olivier Award winner Lesli Marghertia (Matilda), Lindsay Barron (Kinky Boots), Andy Redeker (Les Miserables, Titanic) and Allison Guinn (On the Town, Hair).

Tickets for JOYCE JACKSON'S GUIDE TO DATING at The Abbey are $25 for General Admission and $40 for VIP, which includes reserved table seating and a complimentary glass of wine. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.TicketFly.com.
