NAKED BOYS SINGING Opens at the Footlight Theatre

The Parliament House Orlando has announced its next mainstage production: The Central Florida debut of Naked Boys Singing! This hilarious revue features 16 original songs, 7 gorgeous guys and no clothes- a winning combination if ever there was one! From the sassy opening number "Gratuitous Nudity," to the screamingly funny "Bliss of a Bris," audiences and critics alike have hailed "Naked Boys Singing!" as a sure-fire crowd-pleaser. The show runs Friday through Sunday, February 5 - March 13, 2016, plus a special benefit "Leap Year," performance on Monday, February 29. A portion of the proceeds from the leap year performance will benefit The Hope and Help Center.

While actors in the show are nude a majority of the time, nothing about the show, material, or staging is pornographic in any way whatsoever.

The cast, which features Broadway veterans, local celebrities, and Original Naked Boys Singing Cast members from NYC, stars James Berkley, William Bruce, Mitchel Burns from Melbourne, Kevin Kelly, Bryan Manley, Joshua Roth, and Cannon Starnes. The creative team includes John Gardner, Musical Director; Pete Simpson, Choreographer; and Chris McCabe, Stage Manager.

The production will be directed by the Parliament House's new Artistic Director of the Footlight Theatre: Tim Evanicki. The Footlight Theatre has long been known for its world famous female impersonators: The Footlight Players, but Evanicki hopes to turn the theatre into a real entertainment destination, bringing comedians, musicians, cabaret performers, and more live theatre than ever before. Naked Boys Singing will be Evanicki's first major production in his new position.
