MAD COW THEATRE, ORLANDO SHAKESPEARE THEATER and ORANGE COUNTY ARTS AND CULTURE announce Jay Becker as Charles Dickens for Orlando's year-long WHAT THE DICKENS celebration. In 2014 dozens of Orlando area arts, cultural and social service organizations celebrate the life, works, times and issues of Charles Dickens with 202 event days celebrating his 202nd birthday.

Find humor, inspiration, and wonderful experiences throughout 2014 as the Orlando area cultural organizations celebrate WHAT THE DICKENS. Plays, exhibitions, music, pub crawls, food, lectures and more can be found at www.WhatTheDickensOrlando.com. Mr. Dickens will appear at many events throughout the multi-organizational, year-long celebration of the life of Charles Dickens as well as at area schools. Mr. Dickens can be booked for public appearances courtesy of the English Speaking Union, Florida Theatrical, Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs, Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation, RS&C Productions and Walt Disney World.

Mr. Dickens will be seen throughout the year at many Orlando organizations including the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Mad Cow Theatre, Orange County Public Library, Orange County Regional History Center, Orlando Museum of Art, Orlando Philharmonic, Orlando Repertory Theatre, Orlando Shakespeare Theater, Winter Park Playhouse, and many more.
