Mad Cow Theatre celebrates the holidays by renewing a cabaret tradition, It Was a Very Good Yule, opening Dec. 8, 2016 in Club Moo (the Zehngebot-Stonerock Theatre).

Mad Cow's holiday cabaret returns to celebrate the season by honoring the most contemporary of pop-culture traditions, the holiday movie musical. You'll hear familiar music from such audience favorites as Scrooged, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, as well as new music inspired by such holiday films as A Christmas Story, Elf, and the Irving Berlin classic Holiday Inn.

Mad Cow Theatre is located on the second floor of 54 W. Church St. in downtown Orlando. Tickets are $15 and $20, available at 407-297-8788 or madcowtheatre.com.

Appearing in It Was a Very Good Yule will be Heather Kopp (Tommy, The Secret Garden, Hair), Bert Rodriguez (The Secret Garden), and husband and wife Laura & Alex Mansoori in their Mad Cow debut!

It Was a Very Good Yule is written and directed by Ron Schneider, who has directed the Orlando Cabaret Festival's It Was a Very Good Year cabaret shows, along with performing in such shows as The Matchmaker, Cat on a Hot Tin Roofand You Can't Take It With You. Music director is Philip King (the Orlando Cabaret Festival, Hair, Dreamgirls). Lighting Design is by Waylon Lemasters. Stefany Sosa is stage manager.

Performances will run from Dec. 8 to Dec. 23 in Club Moo.
