Florida Rep's Education Department will present The True Story of the Three Little Pigs as part of the Lunchbox Theatre Series in the Historic Arcade Theatre.

Based on the book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith, with a script by Robert Kauzlaric, and music by Paul Gilvary and William Rush, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs will be sure to get audiences moving and grooving

"We all think we know the story of the Three Little Pigs, but The True Story of the Three Little Pigs turns the classic tale on its head and tells us the untold wolf's side of the story.", says Education Director, Lauren Sale "This rock musical features the familiar characters in a courtroom drama filled with laughs, musical theatre, and puppets. Audiences will delight in helping to decide the wolf's fate at the end of the trial! It's a brilliant 50-minute, non-stop musical full of laughs and pig-puns that will entertain audiences of all ages!"

Based on the beloved children's book, this dynamite rock musical goes inside the trial of the century as Alexander T. Wolf answers for his crimes against HAM-anity! Audiences will huff and puff with laughter as they become involved in the turn out of the alleged Big Bad Wolf!

The True Story of the Three Little Pigs features Florida Rep's acting intern company, Courtney Feiman, Britt Michael Gordon, Mike Magliocca, Elise Miller, and Kayla Tomas. As emerging professionals, these young performers will spend the season exploring the ins and outs of the theatre industry, both on stage and off, with their focus being the Children's Theatre Series.

Education Director, Lauren Sale, directs and is joined by a fantastic creative team featuring Jordan Moore as set designer, Alexandria Vazquez as costume designer, Erin Peter as scenic artist, Brittany Lealman as props artisan, and choreography by Bailey Heinz.

The True Story of the Three Little Pigs plays in the Historic Arcade Theatre today, Nov. 1 at 10:15am and Friday, Nov. 21 at 11am.
