Artful Events announces programming for the AUTUMN AT THE ABBEY series, featuring a wide variety of local and nationally renowned talent that will be taking the stage at The Abbey this fall. The lineup includes a weekly cabaret series, comedy offerings, happy hours and more.

"We are so pleased to be able to bring a variety of different entertainment offerings to The Abbey this fall, including a new cabaret series featuring some of Orlando's best talent," said Wendy Connor, owner of The Abbey.

DANCIN' THROUGH THE DECADES

September 5 - 8 PM

Dancin' Through the Decades is a non-stop music video party that showcases the hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s. With five HD screens and an amazing lighting and sound system, The Abbey will turn into the biggest party in town as the music plays and the drink specials flow. No cover.

MONDAY NIGHT CABARET SERIES

September 8 - 8 PM: Rebecca Fisher's Sin. Play Live.

September 15 - 8 PM: Mood Swings with Kevin Kelly

September 22 - 8 PM: Jessica Hoehn's Debutante Gall

September 29 - 8 PM: Andrea Canny's Good For You

October 13 - 8 PM: John Ryan & Eddie Cooper: Strange Bedfellows

In a brand new Cabaret Series at The Abbey, local favorites take the stage in a different cabaret performance each week. Featuring some of Orlando's biggest names, including Andrea Canny, John Ryan, Rebecca Fisher and more, the Monday Night Cabaret Series provides a distinct entertainment experience with spirited storytelling and live accompaniment. Tickets to the Monday Night Cabaret Series are $10.

ROCK HARD REVUE

September 6 & 20, October 4 - 9 PM

The gentlemen of ROCK HARD REVUE will keep the autumn nights hot as they steam up The Abbey stage. This event sells out, so ladies are encouraged to reserve seats early.

WIGGIN' OUT WEDNESDAYS - 80s VIDEO NIGHT

Every Wednesday September 10 through October 1 - 5 PM

Every Wednesday October 29 through November 19 - 5 PM

Each Wednesday night, get your dose of MTV as The Abbey plays all of the totally tubular videos you know and love from the awesome 80s. No cover, drink specials, giveaways and special performances by local artists will make Wiggin' Out Wednesdays the place to be.

The Abbey is going BONKERZ! BONKERZ, with locations throughout the USA, has been providing hilarious stand-up comedy shows for more than three decades, and now they are bringing the hottest upcoming comedians to The Abbey.

LADIES OF EOLA HEIGHTS -- An Official Come Out With Pride Event

October 6 & 7 - 7 PM

The Locksdale sisters are back! Fresh off of an acclaimed summer run at The Abbey, LADIES OF EOLA HEIGHTS has partnered with Come Out With Pride to return for two performances only on October 6 and 7. Michael Wanzie's hugely successful story of the estranged Locksdale sisters, reunited at their family home in the historical Eola Heights neighborhood of Orlando to plan their daddy's funeral, is as funny as it is touching -- a comedy with serious themes that will take the audience on a roller coaster of emotions.

Bret Shuford is CHARMING: A TALE OF AN AMERICAN PRINCE

November 24 - 8 PM

Bret Shuford, who has been seen on Broadway in The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, will bring his solo show, Charming: A Tale of an American Prince, to The Abbey on November 24th. In his one-man show, Shuford tells the tale of one Prince's trek from the faraway Kingdom of Texas to a castle in The East Village. Shuford's quest is highlighted by the music of Sondheim, Lutvak, Prince and more, with a little Disney magic thrown in for good measure.
