Orlando Repertory Theatre (The REP) presents Click, Clack, BOO! A TrickyTreat (October 6 - November 9, 2014), based on the book by Doreen Cronin and Betsey Lewin, and adapted by James E. Grote with music and lyrics by George Howe. This production is presented by Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs with supporting sponsor Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor, & Reed, P.A.

It's Halloween! Duck, Pig, Cow, and Hen cannot wait to throw a Halloween party, complete with apple-bobbing, bottomless candy bowls, and a spook-tacular costume contest, against Farmer Brown's wishes, as he is afraid of Halloween. Join the barnyard crew as they show Farmer Brown that sometimes a little scare can be big fun in this new musical.

"From the moment I knew the book was being published, without even reading it, I knew it had to come to life on stage," says director Jeff Revels. "In this story, you will see that some of us are afraid of Halloween and with good reason! Haunted houses, horror movies, and tales of the supernatural can unnerve the bravest of us. But, you will find none of that here - the spirit of this story is to show us that we can put all that aside and enjoy a fun, laugh-filled (not shriek-filled) holiday. Like most holidays, we can experience it on different levels and this show takes us back to the simple, fun, do-it-yourself Halloween that we can celebrate joyfully with the children in our lives."

Click, Clack, BOO! A Tricky Treat runs Saturdays and Sundays from October 6 - November 9, 2014 at 2pm and 5:30pm. Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for students, seniors (55+), and members of the military with valid ID, and $12 for the youth (ages 3 to 17).

Kids are encouraged to wear their family-friendly Halloween costumes to any weekend of the show, and join the barnyard gang for an onstage Halloween parade!

The REP also offers special performances of Click Clack, BOO! A Tricky Treat. Papa John's Pizza Family Night is October 25 at 5:30pm. Pizza is $2 per slice and is available for purchase before and after the performance. Guests have the option of ordering a full pie in the lobby before the performance and it will be available for pickup afterward. A portion of the proceeds for each purchase is donated back to The REP. A Sensory-Friendly presentation of Click, Clack, BOO! A Tricky Treat for children with autism, Asperger's, or other sensory processing disorders is October 26 at 5:30pm. There is also an ASL performance, translated by an American Sign Language Interpreter on Saturday, November 1, at 2pm. Backstage Tours are offered on October 18 and November 1 & 8, following the 5:30 performance. Tickets are $5 per person and space is limited, so make sure you reserve your spot early in advance at the box office!

The cast includes Whitney Abell, Jason Gerhard, Jillian Gizzi, Katrina Johnson, and Kurt Roth. The creative team includes Director Jeffrey M. Revels, Musical Director Steve MacKinnon, Choreographer Spencer Morrow, Scenic Designer Austin K. Butler, Costume Designer Wendy Smith Maxwell, Lighting Designer Ryan Riegner, Sound Designer Anthony Narciso, and Props Designer Jennifer Gaspari.
