IVY + BEAN comes to The Rose Theater

In just one week, The Rose Theater will present IVY + BEAN: THE MUSICAL. I am so excited about this show! If you are familiar with these characters, you know they are just that - CHARACTERS! The two actresses in the lead roles are absolutely charming and the perfect embodiment of the characters from the books. The entire production is bright and fun and just absolutely hilarious.

If you aren't familiar with the popular books, IVY + BEAN is the story about two girls growing up in a neighborhood called Pancake Court. Bean has a big personality and big ambitions to make her mark on the world, but her bossy big sister, Nancy, keeps getting in her way. Bean thinks the girl next door, Ivy, is strange and boring. But one day, while evading her big sister, Bean happens to catch Ivy as she is practicing to become a witch, and she realizes that Ivy may just be more interesting than she originally thought. The two team up together as they embark on a unique friendship, bonded together by their goal to make Nancy's life completely miserable.

We would love to welcome you to a preview of the show. We have two options available: Thursday, Oct. 8 at 1 pm and Friday, Oct. 9 at 1 pm. If those dates don't work for you, please just let me know and I will try to get you into one of the public shows, although I will tell you that our tickets are selling very fast and we already have several shows about to sell out.
