Winner of two Tony Awards in 1989 and 2010. One of the most hilarious comedies of all time, LEND ME A TENOR has been translated into sixteen languages and produced in twenty-five countries. The story follows the misadventures of a regional opera company as they try to produce Verdi’s Otello with a world-renowned but notoriously difficult tenor. What follows is a chain-reaction of mistaken identity, farcical plot twists, double entendres and innuendoes. LEND ME A TENOR is comedy at its best. At the Frede Little Theatre.
