The Jewel Box Theatre will be holding auditions for Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles, and Around the World in Eighty Days on Saturday, January 7th and Sunday, January 8th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles is adapted and dramatized by Harvey Mackie. It is directed by Linda McDonald. The production runs from March 1 - 25, 2012.

This classic mystery is Holmes' most famous and popular case: Sir Charles Baskerville has fallen victim to the family curse. Suspects abound ~from the secretive butler, to the escaped Notting Hill murderer, or was it the ghostly hounds that haunt the moors? It it Sherlock Holmes at his best!

The CAST includes:
3 women: 20-60
6 men: 20-60

Around the World in Eighty Days is written by Mark Brown. The production is directed by Bob Woods. It runs from April 12 - May 6, 2012.

Fearless adventurer Phileas Fogg and his faithful manservant race to beat the clock. This 'wildly wacky' comedy has five actors playing 39 characters as they travel seven continents with stampeding elephants, raging typhoons and runaway trains. All Aboard!

The CAST includes:
1 Woman: 20's
4 Men: 20-40
NOTE: An English accent is required
1 Foley sound effects person

Sides will be provided for actors to read from. Must bring resume and photograph (snapshots, class photo, etc) to the audition.
