JEEVES IN BLOOM is based on characters originated by beloved British author P.G. Wodehouse. At the play's start, the lovably loopy Bertie Wooster has just returned to London from a trip to the Riviera with his Aunt Dahlia.

He's catching up with his valet Jeeves when a telegram (actually a series of telegrams) arrives from Aunt Dahlia summoning him, upon pain of death, to come immediately to Brinkley Court, the family's country home. Just when Bertie and Jeeves are ready to depart, Gussie Fink-Nottle, his old school chum and a world famous expert on newts, arrives to seek advice in the romance department.

Without a thought, Bertie whisks him off to Brinkley Court for the weekend, along with Jeeves. This sets in motion a series of precarious situations for Bertie, such as romantic entanglements akin to Cyrano de Bergerac, possible death by meat cleaver, and even burglary of the family estate. As always, his unflappable, brilliant valet Jeeves is there to save the day!
