Unmasked Theatre's THE HAUNTED TRAIN Begins Tonight at TNC

Unmasked Theatre Company presents THE HAUNTED TRAIN, a new musical, tonight, October 14, through October 18, 2015, Wednesday through Saturday at 8pm, Saturday and Sunday at 3pm at Theater for the New City, Cabaret Theater (155 1st Ave, New York, NY 10003).

This is the World Premiere Production of THE HAUNTED TRAIN, a new musical with book by Christian Fleming and Randy Gross, music and lyrics by Christopher Anselmo (Fable at NYMF), directed by Christian Fleming (Assoc. Director - Sweeney Todd at Playmakers Rep) and music directed by Trevor M. Pierce (Assoc. Conductor - Anything Goes 2nd National Tour).

THE HAUNTED TRAIN stars Jarrad Biron Green (Tony in West Side Story, National Tour) as Cloyd, J.D. Killikelly as Gizzard, Jessie MacBeth as Solomon, Lindsay Lerner as Rosemary, and Michael Cusimano as Dr. Barnes.

THE HAUNTED TRAIN follows Cloyd, a patient in a mental health facility, on his last-ditch attempt to win his freedom and prove his "sanity" after being visited by the ghost of a death row inmate. As Cloyd's caretakers each begin to see the ghost, they are forced re-evaluate Cloyd and question what really qualifies as "crazy." THE HAUNTED TRAIN explores how stigma can pervade even the ways we medically treat mental illness, and the problems that arise when we view the human mind as something to be "cured."
