A 2013 New York Innovative Theatre Award nominated production returns in United Solo Festival. What happens when the magical world of your average South American person is transplanted to a more northern, less magical, more real location? Join Octavio as he discovers poetry, satire, love, birds, chocolate, hippies and explosives on the way from the Andes to San Francisco during the fragrant 1960s.

Nat Cassidy (Performer) is an award-winning playwright, director, and actor, and a sandwich-winning musician. He was awarded the New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Solo Performance in 2011 for his one-man show I Am Providence (directed by DeLisa M. White), and was nominated for the same award again in 2013 for the world premiere of Ed Malin's Generic Magic Realism. Film and TV credits include: The Affair (Showtime), "High Maintenance" (coming soon to HBO), The Following (Fox), Red Oaks (Amazon), They Will Outlive Us All (Winner: Best Actor, Route 66 International Film Festival). Nat's plays have been produced and/or developed at The Kennedy Center, Washington National Opera, Primary Stages, The Players Club, Flux Theatre Ensemble, Blood Brothers Present, Manhattan Theatre Source, The Gallery Players, The Brick, as well as theaters in Chicago, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and others. He is a three-time nominee for (and one-time winner of) the New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Full-Length Script and his work has been published by New York Theatre Experience, Smith & Kraus, Applause, and Indie Theatre Now. Nat was named one of NYTHEATRE's 2011 People of the Year for his contribution to the NY independent theatre scene and is an inductee in the Indie Theater Hall of Fame. Pancakes to K.
