The Bridge Production Group is thrilled to bring Steven Dietz's "The Nina Variations" to New York City for nine performances at the T. Schreiber Studios beginning this Friday, May 19th!

In this hour long, funny, fierce and heartbreaking homage to "The Seagull," Steven Dietz puts Chekhov's star-crossed lovers in a room and doesn't let them out. In forty-three variations on their famous final scene, Nina (a young actress) and Treplev (a young writer), pit their vibrant wit and soaring passions against one another in a fast-paced tour de force of romantic entanglement.

Written by Steven Dietz, "The Nina Variations" features direction by Coleman Ray Clark (Assistant Dir. to Timothy Douglas) and performances by Jasmine Stiefel ("Hawaii 5-0," Off the Map at Hawaii Opera Theatre) and Jake Owen (F*ck It Club, Workshop Theatre).

General Admission tickets are $15, and seating is in the round. The T. Schreiber Studios provide an intimate arena for "Nina," but space is limited - make sure to reserve your seat today!

The Bridge Production Group is a nonprofit theatre company dedicated to disrupting the conventional assumptions surrounding classical theatre. Their inaugural production of "Richard III" was hailed as "post-modern Shakespeare at its best ... frenetic and daringly unconventional" by The New York Theatre Review, and was named as one of the 2016 Top Ten Off-Broadway Productions by Manhattan With a Twist. The Bridge has also produced at the Gowanus Loft and Snug Harbor Cultural Center, and sponsored a developmental workshop of CRASH Theatre's adaptation of Three Sisters.

This fall, The Bridge is producing the Robert Moss Residency from September 29th - October 29th: "hedda" by Carol Brown (loosely adapted from Ibsen's "Hedda Gabler") in rotating repertory with Adam Rapp's "Red Light Winter" (a 2006 Pulitzer Prize Nominee). In addition to these two fully-produced plays, the Robert Moss Residency will include solo performances, developmental workshops, readings, and more!
