With the generous support of over 130 community members and hundreds of hours of preparation from a passionate team, Serpent Club Theatre's debut of Ardor is turning out to be a huge success. With only six more shows to go, the seats are filling up fast and the reviews- from professional critics to general audience members - are coming in great.

"If you haven't seen Ardor please go out and see it." Marymount Manhattan College student Taylor Allen shared on Facebook. "What an amazing experience these actors allowed me to witness. I cried twice but not a sad, angry cry, a hopeful, reminiscent cry. The atmosphere let's the audience really delve into the characters lives and makes our involvement more intimate."

"I think it is best to say that I inhabited the play rather than watched it," culture blogger Victoria Beerman wrote, "As the intensity of the passionate search for love, meaning, self, creativity and connection was happening all around me, it was impossible not to feel deeply for each of the characters - every single one of them realistically portrayed by a cast of genuinely talented actors."

"I watch about 11 shows a week and over 500 shows a year," professional theatregoer Nicki Cochrane raved, "Ardor is the most special and wonderful show I've seen this year. I strongly recommend it for everyone."
