On June 12th-14th, 19th-20th and 26th-28th the NYC-based comedy troupe FUCT returns to the Studio at Cherry Lane Theatre for a night of new scenes, songs, and stunts titled FUCT: As Seen On TV.  FUCT promises an evening of sketch comedy, original music, pain, laughter and a live rock band. Whether you're a long-time fan or a new-comer to the FUCT experience, this is the evening to see. All performances take place at 10PM. at 38 Commerce Street (just off of 7th Avenue).  The cast features Sara Bell, Jon Crane, Joe Galan, Brian Gillespie, Ian Sinclair Lassiter, Janio Marrero and Graham Skipper.

"Come hurt us, laugh at us, and drink with us – hell, laugh at us while you hurt us and then take one of us home. We don't care.  All we want is for you to have fun."

FUCT began in May of 2002 when a group of students at Fordham University illegally performed an evening of underground comedy.  This show was put up at midnight in the black-box theater with a curtain, a microphone and a keg.  Back then, the only point collectively agreed upon was the title:  F.U.C.T., or the Fordham Underground Comedy Troupe.

By the following fall, rumors of this secret show had quickly spread and when FUCT returned (now introducing a live band into the mix), the audience more than doubled in size, with students cramming in to sit or stand wherever they could to catch a glimpse of the stage.

In December of 2004, a portion of the group partnered up with most of the original members in an attempt to take FUCT outside of Fordham.  FUCT in Public premiered for one night only at the Rattlestick Theatre, thrusting the troupe of players onto the New York City comedy scene.

Since that first public performance, the troupe has conceived and produced eight other shows: FUCT Up @ the Producer's Club (May 2005), FUCT on the Strip (November 2005), The Passion of the FUCT (February 2006), FUCT Impregnates Your Sister (September 2006), Deaf, Dumb and FUCT (February 2007) and FUCT: The Tip Doesn't Count (June 2007), BEST of FUCT (December 2007), FÜCT with Two Dots Over the "U" (February 2008) as well as appearing at The Upright Citizen's Brigade's Liquid Courage and several impromptu street performances.

"Today, FUCT continues with the same energy as its original, illegal black-box performances, striving to create a late night show that feels like a party.  A show that will make you laugh, or groan, or scream.  A show that follows the same formula of mixing comedy with games, stunts, music and audience participation.  A show that will always ask: Are you ready to get FUCT?"

In addition to their upcoming run at the Studio at Cherry Lane Theatre FUCT will be performing at the following venues:
