1864. Petersburg, Virginia. As the Civil War rages on, Confederate operatives in control of a courier line work to gather information on the Union's efforts. Little do they know that they themselves are being watched by a contraband masquerading as a slave who acts in the interest of the North. Take a glimpse inside an unknown chapter of American history. As we commemorate the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War, let's re-examine the War from a whole new perspective. COURIERS AND CONTRABANDS is an intriguing, sexy spy thriller about the unsung heroes behind the scenes.

The production stars Jeremy Beck* (Betrayed - The Culture Project; The Cocktail Party - TACT) as George, Helen Cespedes (Broadway's The Cripple of Inishmaan; Showtime's The Knick) as Mary, Luke Forbes* (Fox's Gotham, ABC's Forever) as Willie, Heather Hollingsworth (Playgrounds - The Claque) as Lottie, Krystel Lucas* (In the Next Room - Syracuse Stage; The Merchant of Venice - Old Globe) as Nancy, Eric T. Miller* (rogerandtom - HERE Arts Center; Awake and Sing! - Huntington Theater) as James, and Michael Schantz* (You Got Older -Page 73, 2015 Obie Winner) as Thomas.
