On Saturday January 16th at 2pm, Sunday, January 17th and Monday, January 18th at 7pm, ON KENTUCKY AVENUE: The Atlantic City Club Harlem Revue returns to The Triad, 158 West 72nd Street.

Celebrating its third year at this historic venue (launching pad to FOREVER PLAID, FORBIDDEN BROADWAY and more), ON KENTUCKY AVENUE is set circa 1969 and pays homage to Atlantic City's now defunct historical "Club Harlem," host to all "the greats" such as Nancy Wilson, Sammy Davis, Jr., Ella Fitzgerald and many more. The story is told against a backdrop of the fragility of show business for Black performers of that era - and centers on a complicated love triangle.

ON KENTUCKY AVENUE stars Ty Stephens as impresario 'Ivan King' (On January 17th 'King' will be portrayed by Richard E. Waits). Also introducing Renee Ternier as lead showgirl 'Betty Jo Stanton' and Andricka Hall, as a featured vocalist who is Betty Jo's best friend, 'Pauline Pierce.' ON KENTUCKY AVENUE also features vocalist Jeree Wade as 'Damita Jo' and Lee Summers as comedian 'Slappy Black.'

The cast also includes a talented ensemble of show girls and guys who often double in featured roles: Donna Clark, Gregory J. Hanks, Mindy Haywood, Cassandra Palacio and Renee Ternier, Carmen Carriker, Zhana Saunders, Devin L. Price and Garrett Turner. The band is led by Musical Director/Pianist Frank Owens; Wilbur Bascomb on Bass; Jack Cavari on Guitar and David Silliman on Drums.

ON KENTUCKY AVENUE was conceived by Jeree Wade, co-written and choreographed by Ty Stephens; co-written and directed by Adam Wade and features original music is by Ty Stephens, Frank Owens, Branice McKenzie, Wilbur Bascomb, Adam Wade and Jeree Wade. Guest Swing Dance choreography is by Mickey Davidson. Co-costume design is Ty Stephens and Pearl Williams. The Production Stage Manager is Pearl Williams with Shannon Epstein on lights and sound.

ON KENTUCKY AVENUE is produced by Robert R. Blume/Songbirds Unlimited Productions, Peter Martin/Rick Newman, in association with J.R. Knauf, Marshall N. Warner, Step Forward Entertainment, Marya Coburn and Cobi Narita.
