Oil of Ole! is a dynamic mix of traditional flamenco and outlandish clowning which will be presented March 22-24th at LaMaMa Club, 74A East 4th Street. Kendall Cornell (leader of the all-women clown troupe Clowns Ex Machina) renews her inspired collaboration with flamenco singer Alfonso Cid and guitarist Arturo Martinez in this performance melding masterful flamenco music, dance and imaginative lunacy.

Passionate dance.
Soul-filled music.
The smells of Spain.
And... a clown.
This night of traditional flamenco performance spins out of control -- and Lorca spins in his grave --as Flamenco Girl brings her own brand of comedy duende to the Tablao. A ludicrous mixture of cante, guitar, dance, surprises, jealousy, daggers, and astonishing absurdity, Oil of Olé! rocks the flamenco casa with dangerous laughter.
Oil of Olé! (Flamenco Girl's Clown Tablao) opens on March 22nd at 10pm and continues March 23rd at 10pm and March 24th at 5:30pm.
