John Doble's REUNION RUN Set for New York International Fringe Fest, Beg. Tonight

REUNION RUN, a world-premiere drama written by emerging playwright John Doble -- whose one-act plays COFFEE HOUSE, GREENWICH VILLAGE and A SERIOUS PERSON were Finalists for Best Play in 2012 and 2013 at Midwinter Madness and Manhattan Rep, respectively -- will be presented as part of the 17th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - Fringe NYC, held this year from tonight, August 9th - 25th. REUNION RUN: A military term: going into combat recklessly, knowing you're likely to die.

In REUNION RUN, Danny, a troubled inner-city schoolteacher and his cousin, Ronnie, an Army captain, fall in love at a family reunion. After serving in Iraq, she returns, changed, and they struggle to help each other reassemble their lives.

Jessica Myhr (Ronnie). Notably, Jessica was in the New York premiere of the rare play, The London Merchant, as the cunning courtesan Millwood at the Storm Theatre. New York: The Red and The Black (Marie), Theatre at St. Clement's; Doubt (Sister James), Schubert Theatre, NYU Tisch Alumni; A Shot Away (Marianne), Red Fern Theatre Company; Caesar & Cleopatra (Charmian, went on for Cleopatra), Theatre Row; The Cherry Orchard (Anya), Resonance Ensemble; House of Desires (Dona Ana), Storm Theatre. Regional: Logomaniacs (world premiere); The Three Musketeers (Queen of France); Hamlet (Ophelia), Actors Shakespeare Company; The Diary of Anne Frank (Miep), Northern Stage. Jessica has an MFA in Acting from Rutgers University under William Esper and Deborah Hedwall.

SETH REICH (Danny) has most recently been seen in Yerma, Twelfth Night, and Oedipus, Columbia University. New York Theatre: Harm's Wayand A Tack of an American Conscience, newFangled theatReR; Beware of Dog, New York Theatre Ensemble. Regional: Richard II; Highway Ulysses, American Repertory Theatre, dir. RoBert Woodruff; Henry V, Commonwealth Shakespeare Co.; Othello, Swan Stage; Troilus and Cressida, Publick Theatre; The Three Musketeers; The Lear Project; Macbeth, Actor's Shakespeare Company; Julius Caesar; Macbeth; A Midsummer Night's Dream; Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare Now. TV/Film: "All My Children," "As the World Turns," The Moment After. He is also an accomplished musician and composer and is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the rock band The Glowflies. Seth is currently getting his MFA in Acting at Columbia University.

Mark Olsen (Director) is a project director and teacher of movement in the Juilliard Drama Division where he recently directed The Dining Room. In 2012, Mark taught scene studies at Columbia University and recently directed the industry showcase for the Columbia University Graduate Acting Program. Currently Chair of the Musical Theatre Conservatory for the New York Film Academy, Mark is former Head of Graduate Acting at the Penn State School of Theatre. He has been a guest performer and teacher at Sarah Lawrence College, Bucknell University, New York Public Theatre's Shakespeare Lab and is an Emeritus teacher and former secretary of the Society of American Fight Directors. The author of The Golden Buddha Changing Masks, The Actor with a Thousand Faces, and Acting - Scene One, Mark trained as an actor and studied Mime with the great teachers of the late 20th century. As a much younger man, he performed on Broadway and internationally in the mime/mask show, Mummenshanz, and toured the United States with his solo shows, Laughscapes and Thunder and Freres Jacques.
