LaVie Theaters will present "An Evening Celebrating Life and Hope" Pink Carpet Charity Event, featuring the musical YAHWEH ON BROADWAY with Grammy Nominee Joel Diamond as music director, tonight, November 29 at 8 p.m. at the Jackie Kennedy-Onassis Theater.

Hosted by Antonio Saillant, the evening will feature performances from writer, producer and composer Shandell King's YAHWEH, directed by Daniela Hart.

YAHWEH is a compelling story of Greg McKenzie played by Taso Mikroulis journey and triumph after suffering the loss of his mother to breast cancer. It is a journey to finding peace with God in the shadow of this tragedy. The inspired musical was written after the tragic loss of the playwright's cousin to Hodgkin’s Lymphoma while also enduring the rising number of friend’s with loved ones affected by cancer.

The evening will  honor the lives of loved ones lost and those who are battling cancer, as well as the 9/11 first responders that fell victim to cancer due to asbestos poisoning. The first 40 cancer patients to attend the event will receive cancer care bags containing makeup and hope and wellness literature, the first 100 tickets purchased will be entered to win an exclusive dinner for two at the Blue Water Grill in Union Square, New York.
