About The Show

Do You Like That Man?

A Night of New and/or Short Works by James Harrison Monaco

James is a writer, musician, and performer, who likes to tell stories with a musical quality to them. This night will center around the workshop performance of a new solo show he's working on, in which he tells the story of a wedding reception in Long Island. This piece will be rough, unfinished, and exciting, and will happen all three nights. On Thursday and Friday he'll do two shorter pieces as well (one solo, and one with composer Jerome Ellis). On Saturday night there will also be a staged reading of a new play by Alex Kveton, directed by Jess Chayes and starring Ben Beckley. Eager audience desired.
