HERE Arts Center, the Laurie Beechman Theater and Times Square Arts Center have announced a New York City 2012 alternative holiday show roundup. Full details below!

Chris March'S BUTT-CRACKER SUITE!
HERE Arts Center (145 Avenue of Americas at Dominick Street).

Project Runway & Mad Fashion star Chris March puts his larger-than-life spin on "The Nutcracker" set, of course, in a trailer park. Dancing pink flamingos, cans of Spam, and ugly Christmas sweaters come to life on Christmas Eve… but no Sugar Plum Fairies or Snowflakes in this version! With over-the-top costumes, fabulous performers, and just a hint of blasphemy, this show is the tacky gift that keeps on giving!

Tuesday - Friday at 8:30pm; Saturday at 8:30pm & 10:30pm; and Sunday at 4pm & 8:30pm with added shows Nov. 26 at 8:30, Dec, 26 at 4 and Dec 28 at 10:30pm. No show on Christmas Day. Tickets are $50, available at 212-352-3101 or www.here.org.

Laurie Beechman Theater (407 West 42nd Street -- at Ninth Avenue).

Dallas DuBois and the "ladies" of the long-running (and soon-to-return) drag hit Distorted Diznee run all of your holiday favorites past a dirty funhouse mirror. Highlights will include a twisted take on Let It Snow, an alternative Grinch, and a warped spin on A Charlie Brown Christmas as well as a special visit from The Port Authority Cockettes, an extremely downscale version of the celebrated Radio City Rockettes. Co-starring Pixie Aventura, Holly Dae, Tina Burner, and Bootsie LeFaris.

NAKED HOLIDAYS
Times Square Arts Center at 300 West 43rd Street (at 8th Avenue, 4th fl.).

EndTimes Productions presents the 6th annual edition of this flesh-filled evening of non-traditional holiday mischief, music and merriment. This gleeful evening of naughty short plays, musical interludes and skin-filled sketches puts a theatrical spin on some of our best-loved winter traditions. Highlights include: "Weredeer," about a man doomed to become a monster on Christmas Eve; "How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love the Holidays," set in the FOX newsroom during the War on Christmas; "The Worst Jews In the World," in which Christmas-loving Jewish couple feels conflicted; "Dad Came Out This Christmas," about father who makes the Yuletides gay; and "The Naked People Play," the traditional full monty Naked Holidays closer.

Poet/elementary school security guard Molly "Equality" Dykeman presents her 2nd annual Christmas variety show. In the Percocet-fogged haze that is her mind, will she be able to muck her way through holiday numbers, festive choreography, and a glittering array of guest stars -- including Michael Musto, Bambi Galore, Will Clark, JubiLee Diamond & Adam Sank? Will she finally land the lady...or ladies... of her dreams?

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa or Ramadan, an evening with Jackie Beat is always the perfect antidote to holiday cheer. This new holiday show wraps hilarious new seasonal with some Christmas classics including Jackie's cocaine-fueled rewrite of “Let It Snow,” the pregnancy confessional “Santa’s Baby,” and a menorah-loving “Jew Christmas".

Bubbly Cuban chanteuse and campy cult favorite Margarita Pracatan -- armed with a Yahama keyboard, her thick accent and slippery grasp of the English language -- wants to spend the holidays with you. She loves you, baby! With this night of holiday classics (and a new song written especially for her by The B-52's Fred Schneider!), she’s on a mission to change your life one song at a time -- even if she seldom finds the right key, lands on the right note, or sings the proper lyrics!

Friday at 7:30pm. Tickets are $18 ($20 at the door) plus a $15 food/drink minimum, available at 212-352-3101 or www.SpinCycleNYC.com.
