From February 5-14, Musical Theatre Factory (MTF) will present BOYS WHO TRICKED ME, the first fully staged showcase production to hit the Factory floor. The show, with book, music, and lyrics written by Ben Bonnema, is musically directed by Max Mamon, and directed by MTF Artistic Director, Shakina Nayfack.

Previously workshopped in Musical Theatre Factory's Development Reading Series, this song-cycle, party-game, sleepover-style musical features songs of love gone wrong, lust gone right, and that nagging fear that you will die alone. Pajama attire is encouraged!

The interactive production, billed as "MTF's Big Gay Slumber Party," stars CJ Pawlikowski (The Underclassman), Jermaine Brown Jr. (John Doyle's Porgy and Bess), and Remy Germinario (Bradley Cole, and James Franco's The Feast of Steven).

BOYS WHO TRICKED ME has eight performances from February 5-14; Thursdays and Fridays at 9pm, with a special 8pm showtime on Friday the 13th, and Saturdays at 8 and 11pm. Tickets are $18 at the door; advance reservations are $16 and can be made online at mtf.nyc/boys-who-tricked-me.

MORE ABOUT THE BOYS:

Jermaine Brown Jr. is a Gemini with a Capricorn moon. He loves coffee dates and long walks though Central Park. He is really hoping his dream guy will come someday soon. Like..now.

CJ Pawlikowski, an Aries, may look like your typical corn-fed, Midwesterner, but that's only because...he is. This Indiana native loves spending his Friday evenings curled up on his pleather couch, watching a scary movie, with a glass of middle-shelf whiskey in hand. When he's not fantasizing about his next trip to Harry Potter World, you can find him wandering the streets of New York, pretending to be in a 90's boyband music video.

A Gemini with Aquarius rising, Remy Germinario is a bespectacled actor who owes most of his personality to Lisa Kudrow. He's not so much looking for a boyfriend as much someone who will be quiet and watch Law and Order: SVU with him on Netflix.

Ben Bonnema, a Cancer, is a generally positive and driven person. He's a composer who moved to the city for grad school and has been here about five years. Likes both trashy gay movies and artsy-fartsy flicks - currently in love with Her and Boyhood. Favorite TV shows include Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Arrested Development, Cosmos, and House of Cards. Looking for good guys who know what they want and are going for it. Oh, and he thought we all knew this by now, but please message him with more than just a "hey" or "wats up."

Max Mamon is only writing this profile because his drunk friends are forcing him to (LOL). You might find Max's austere facial expressions to be off-putting at first, but once you get to know him, you'll find that Max is a dreamer, thinker, and lover with of heart of a kind Midwestern boy and the sharp wit of Mindy Kaling. His interests include independent films with strong female leads, reiki healing, and unpaid internships. He prefers French presses to bench presses.
