Laurie Rae Waugh, one of the senior directors at the American Theatre of Actors, James Jennings' multi-theatre complex designed to give opportunities to young artists, will open the 41st Season with MIRRORS by Steve Silver.

After several decades as a Mob Boss, Mickey sees that life has become too complicated in this day and age of video phone cameras and cameras posted on almost every street corner. He has decided that it's time to retire and set up shop down in sunny Florida but first he has to deal with a couple pressing issues. Ken Coughlin stars as Mickey "Mirrors" Miraglia; with John Sheehan as Petey "Shakes" Salerno and Larry Fleischman as Bobby "Botz" Cross.

Performances run Wed - Sat July 20 - 23 and July 27 - 30 at 8:00 p.m. with Sunday matinees: July 24 & July 31 at 3:00 p.m. at the American Theater of Actors, 314 West 54th Street, NYC, 212.581.3044

Ms. Waugh currently has a production in the Midtown International Theatre Festival and is in negotiation to serve as a guest director for a series of revivals of 1980s NY author Robert Liebowitz's work.
