A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS was first shown as an animated television special in 1965 and has been part of the holiday tradition ever since. This family-friendly holiday musical based on the beloved special follows Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the whole Peanuts gang as they grapple with the real meaning of Christmas.

Helmed by Ashley Gunsteens we are proud that the team behind this year's hit shows, A Chorus Line [6 NYIT nominations] and Puttnam Spelling Beeincluding Geena Quintos [A Chorus Line national tour] and MD Dan Garmon reunite with Producer Richard Mazda [Hair, Puttnam, A Chorus Line, Merchant of Venice] and Production Stage Manager, Michael Tosto*.

When Charlie Brown complains about the overwhelming materialism he sees during the Christmas season, Lucy suggests that he become director of the school Christmas pageant. Charlie Brown accepts, but this proves to be a frustrating endeavor. When his attempt to restore the proper holiday spirit with a forlorn little Christmas tree fails, he needs Linus' help to learn what the real meaning of Christmas is. Featuring the song, "Christmas Time is Here," the music of Vince Guaraldi, and never-before-seen dance numbers, A Charlie Brown Christmas is the perfect way to ring in the holidays.

Directed by Ashley Gunsteens, choreographed by Geena Quintos, music directed by Dan Garmon, and produced by Richard Mazda; the show features actors Kyle Bary, Donnie Cianciotto*, Devin Conway, Dom Giovanni, Morgan Siobhan Green, Gavin Juckette, Nick Magnanti, Lauren Schaffel*, Claudia Smith, Kim Wilpon and Christopher Henry Young*.
