"My entire life I?ve lived with the history of the Holocaust and its devastating effects on the world, the Jews, and my own family. The idea of exploring Adolf Hitler and his relationships is not something I ever addressed. However, after learning about Geli Raubal, I became fascinated with her story; how her life, and death, affected this man, and changed his life, ultimately for the worse,? shares creator Aliza Shane. ?The more I read, the more I realized that this is a story that needed to be told. This is not a story that 'explains' or excuses Hitler or his actions - rather, it?s a microscopic look at a relationship that may have been the last straw in a life already set on a path of destruction."

Based on the true story of Geli Raubal, niece to the most infamous villain in history, Mein Uncle is a love story, ruled by mystery, obsession and ultimately, madness. Mein Uncle is a tale of love gone terribly wrong, an absurdist look at the bizarre secret relationship that influenced the man behind the darkest event of the 20th century.

MEIN UNCLE plays the following schedule through June 8th:

Wednesdays through Fridays at 8pm
Saturdays at 2pm & 8pm
Sundays at 2pm

Tickets are $18 and available online at www.3vtheatre.com or by calling 1-800-838-3006. Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the theater half hour prior to performance. Running Time: 90 min.

ANGELIKA MARIA ?GELI? RAUBAL (June 4, 1908 ? September 18, 1931) was Adolf Hitler?s niece. Born in Linz, Austria-Hungary, she was the second child of Hitler's half-sister, Angela Raubal. Hitler had a special place in his heart for Geli and kept a tight rein over her, restricting her activities and her contact with the outside world. It was rumored that they were lovers. On the morning of September 19, 1931, members of Hitler's staff found Geli Raubal dead from a gunshot wound to the lung in her room in Hitler?s Munich apartment. The official cause of death was listed as suicide. Hermann Göring, a leading member of the Nazi Party, would later state at the Nuremberg trials that Geli?s death had devastated Hitler to such an extent that it changed his views and relationships with all other people.

Official Nazi photographer Heinrich Hoffmann said of Geli's death: "That was when the seeds of inhumanity began to grow inside Hitler."

3 VOICES THEATRE is an NYC-based theatre company committed to organic theatre, new play evolution, creative collaboration and development of the Artistic Voice. The ?three voices? represent the three primary voices in creating a play: Playwright, Director and Actor. Each component is equally vital to the process and we believe that the best art is that which comes from the collaboration of all three voices. We also believe that an artist can have more than one voice, and we encourage using multiple voices ? actors who have stories to write, playwrights who love to act, etc. ? there?s room to explore all variations with 3V Theatre in a safe and supportive environment.

Mein Uncle marks the first major production for 3V. The company has produced two staged reading events -- Threesomes and Say Uncle! -- for which scripts about a specific these were solicited over a two-week period, then assigned to a director and team of actors. This creative team had one-two rehearsals before presenting in a staged reading format for the public.
