Off-Broadway's The Play Company presents a special benefit event featuring prime seating for Broadway's Glengarry Glen Ross at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) at 8pm and a pre-show cocktail reception, beginning at 6:15pm, at Angus's Cafe Bistro (258 West 44th Street).

Tickets for show and reception are $350 for Select Orchestra Seating ($195 tax-deductible). Premium Orchestra Tickets are already sold out! For tickets, call 212-398-2977 or visit www.playco.org.

Proceeds benefit The Play Company's 2012-13 Season of new plays from around the world. As previously announced, The Play Company's current season includes a studio production of Kyle Jarrow and Lauren Worsham's SKY-PONY: RAPTURED (October 25-28 at the Ukrainian National Home, 140 Second Avenue); the US premiere of WORKING ON A SPECIAL DAY, adapted from Ettore Scola's film and play Una Giornata Particolare by Danya Taymor, Ana Graham and Antonio Vega (January 10-February 10 at 59E59 Theaters, 59 East 59th Street); and the New York premiere of Roland Schimmelpfennig's THE GOLDEN DRAGON (May 8-June 9 at the New Ohio Theatre, 154 Christopher Street).

Al Pacino returns to Broadway in David Mamet's acclaimed Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Glengarry Glen Ross, directed by Tony Award-winner Daniel Sullivan. In Glengarry Glen Ross, the stakes are high at a fly by night Chicago real estate office: 1st prize – a new Cadillac, 2nd prize – a set of steak knives, 3rd prize – you're fired! The play slices to the core of the American dream and exposes the depths people will go to stay on top of the game. Joining Pacino in the cast are Bobby Cannavale, Murphy Guyer, David Harbour, John C. McGinleyRichard Schiff, and Jeremy Shamos.

An Off-Broadway company dedicated to advancing an international view of contemporary playwriting, The Play Company most recently presented the OBIE Award-winning U.S. premiere of Jonas Hassen Khemiri’s play INVASION!, and the New York premiere of Marius von Mayenburg’s THE UGLY ONE. Other recent productions include the American premiere of Toshiki Okada’s play ENJOY and the world premiere of Eliza Clark’s EDGEWISE. The 2012-13 season is made possible, in part, through the generosity of The American Theatre Wing, which recently awarded the company a 2012 National Theatre Company Grant.
