The final performance of Brian Dykstra's The Jesus Factor, an impassioned indictment of religious hypocrisy, with direction by long-time collaborator Margarett Perry, will conclude its Off-Broadway engagement on Saturday, March 15 at 5PM at the Barrow Street Theater (27 Barrow Street) - with plans of taking the show on-the-road.

Brian Dykstra's rage ignites in The Jesus Factor, his outrageous, uncensored and hilarious one-man tour-de-force about the religious right and the government that worships it.  The Jesus Factor opened January 10 as part of the Barrow Street Fortnight and, due to popular demand, received an extended run. 

Brian Dykstra's The Jesus Factor will begin its crusade in Ithaca, NY, March 30- April 7 at The Kitchen Theatre Company.

The performance schedule at the Barrow Street Theatre is as follows:  Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 5:00pm.  Tickets are priced at $25.00 and may be purchased at www.telecharge.com, or by calling (212) 239-6200 or (800) 432-7250 outside the NY metro area, or at The Barrow Street Theatre Box Office. 

The theatre is located at 27 Barrow Street @ Seventh Avenue, one block south of Christopher.  Box Office hours are Tuesday through Sunday 1 PM through curtain.  Subway: #1 to Christopher, one block south.  A C E B D F V trains to West 4th, west on West 4th, left onto Barrow Street.

Brian Dykstra's The Jesus Factor, which was filmed at Comix in New York City, was released on February 12th by Uproar Entertainment. The DVD is available in retail stores including Best Buy, J&R and FYE as well as online stores Amazon.com, Barnes & Nobel, Target, Circuit City, Tower Video, etc. Audio. The CD is available for download on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon and other prominent download sites.  The DVD will be available for purchase at performances, as well as a limited edition Jesus Factor T-shirt.  This controversial DVD comes with a special warning label -- Caution: Buying this DVD may put you on Rush Limbaugh's "watch" list.
