A rare chance to see Sylvia Plath's only play! Three diverse women reveal what every woman knows about having a child, seeking a greater universal truth about the human condition. Fascinating, frank and powerful, The Stage called THREE WOMEN "Intimate, luminous and fearless!" THREE WOMEN, written one year before Plath's death, was originally written for radio, and premiered on the BBC in 1962.

The cast for THREE WOMEN features Francis Benhamou, Kina Bermudez and Angela Church.

Robert Shaw (director) founded Inside Intelligence in 1995. For the company he has directed the British premieres of David Mamet's The Woods, with Peter Polycarpou, his own translation of Fermín Cabal's ¡shoot! with Don Gilet, Raad Rawi and Danielle Tarento, and One God, One Farinelli! with Richard O'Brien. Other productions for 2010 include the world premieres of his adaptation of Some Gorgeous Accident by the brilliant Scottish novelist James Kennaway: Teddy and Topsy, his adaptation, with dance, of Isadora Duncan's love letters to Gordon Craig; Poem Without a Hero by Anna Akhmatova, translated by DM Thomas and performed by Tony-nominated Xanthe Elbrick; Up To Now, his adaptation of the autobiography of his grandfather, the British composer, producer and all-round bohemian Martin Shaw.

He translated Fermín Cabal's Tejas Verdes, which received its UK premiere at the Gate in 2005 with Gemma Jones, directed by Thea Sharrock. In June 2006 he directed the British premiere of Ana in Love by Paloma Pedrero, which he also translated, with Maisie Dimbleby, Anne Firbank, Jessica Oyelowo, Isobel Pravda and Judith Scott. This play was originally commissioned to mark the first anniversary of the Madrid terrorist bombings in 2004, and it was premiered in London to mark the first anniversary of the 2005 London attack. Robert's other productions include As You Like It with Jessica Oyelowo and Michael Wildman, The Investigation by Peter Weiss, the British premiere of The Prince by David Drane and Dutchman by LeRoi Jones, The Dance of Death with Alan Bates and Frances de la Tour.
