The casting of the OFF-BROADWAY American Premiere of "THE CITY CLUB," an original Blues and Jazz Musical about the indisputable intoxication of music, is complete.

The new musical will star Kristen Martin as Crystal Labelle, Andrew Pandaleon as Chaz Davenport, Ana Hoffman as Maddy, Peter Bradbury as The Lieutenant and Kenny Brawner as Parker Brown with Autumn Guzzardi as Rose, Kaitlin Mesh as Lily, PATRICK O'NEILL as Jacobus "Jake" Olsen, Emily Tyra as Candy and Robert J Townsend as Prince Royale.

"THE CITY CLUB" will open at Off-Broadway's premiere house, the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane - one block south of West 3rd Street between MacDougal Street and Sixth Avenue) on MONDAY, APRIL 23rd. All Preview performances, which begin on TUESDAY, APRIL 3 and continue through SUNDAY, APRIL 22, are priced at $39.50. Visit www.TheCityClubBroadway.com for more information.

Written by an American and British team (Composer/Lyricists James Compton, TONY DEMEUR and Tim Brown; Author GLENN M STEWART) the musical is being directed by Mitchell Maxwell. JONATHAN LYNCH is the Musical Director. Choreographed by Lorin Latarro, "THE CITY CLUB" is being designed by Rob Bissinger (Scenery), David C. Woolard (Costumes), David F. Segal (Lighting) and Carl Casella (Sound).

The musical is being produced Off-Broadway by THE CITY CLUB, LP, an entertainment limited partnership whose principals have been responsible for seventeen (17) films as well as fifty (50) theatrical productions on and off Broadway, London's West End and International and National Tours. CAROL CASTELLI, a long-time Executive at the Walt Disney Company, will serve as General Manager.

"THE CITY CLUB" is a twisting noir morality tale of intrigue, murder, corruption and sex supported by one of the most seductive blues and jazz scores written for the stage in decades. It is the story of CHARLES "CHAZ" DAVENPORT, a young privileged scion of a spectacularly corrupt family whose vice grip on their city is as tight as it is inescapable. The sins of the father have visited unimaginable wealth on the son. Obsessed with music and the people who write it, play it, sing it and worship it; Chaz has opened The City Club, a Mecca of pure and unbridled musical genius, opportunity and escape. The club's instant success attracts his father's enemies who bring with them extremely creative and very effective revenge tactics.

The universe inside the club spirals as low as the city outside. Absinthe becomes the drink of choice, heroin the desired high and women the most valuable form of currency. What we have here is the forces of good and evil battling it out to a great score. The city's name has been withheld to protect the indicted.Public Transportation
