Second Stage Theatre to Offer Limited Number of $19.79 Tickets to SEX WITH STRANGERS with Anna Gunn and Billy Magnussen

Second Stage Theatre will continue its 35th Anniversary Season by offering its popular $19.79 retro prices (the year in which the Company was founded) for the first week of previews of its upcoming production, Laura Eason's SEX WITH STRANGERS, directed by David Schwimmer and starring Anna Gunn and Billy Magnussen. 35 tickets will be available for all performances July 8th - 13th at this special price and will go on sale June 11 at 12:00pm. How far will you go to get what you want? Will you be the same person if you finally do? When star sex blogger and memoirist Ethan tracks down his idol, the gifted but obscure novelist Olivia, he finds they both crave what the other possesses. As attraction turns to sex, and they inch closer to getting what they want, both must confront the dark side of ambition and the near impossibility of reinventing oneself when the past is only a click away.

SEX WITH STRANGERS will feature set design by Andromache Chalfant (2ST's Bachelorette), costume design by ESosa (2ST's By The Way, Meet Vera Stark), lighting design by Japhy Weideman (The Nance), and sound design by Fitz Patton (I'll Eat You Last). The production stage manager will be Scott Taylor Rollison.

What's a celebration without sweets? Audience members are invited to enjoy complimentary post-performance birthday cake during the first week of previews of Sex with Strangers.

Subscribers and Donors (at the $125 Friends level and above) can raise a glass and toast Second Stage Theatre's 35 years with a complimentary glass of wine at every performance this anniversary season.

Second Stage Theatre's "Photo-style booth" will remain in the theatre's café where patrons can continue to take photos celebrating their night at Second Stage. These photos can be automatically posted, shared and tweeted via social media.
