In Abraham's Bosom is the post Civil War story of a deeply troubled young man, son of a powerful white landowner and a poor black woman, who sees education as the means of raising himself and his African-American community out of the bondage of segregation. He strives heroically to fulfill his dream, but in the end is brought down by his own rage at the racist society and the hatred and jealously felt by his white half brother.

Cast include Clark Beasley Jr in the title role, Rebecca Beberaggi, Ted Morgan, Earl Griffin, Marcus D. Harvey, Adrian Arthur, Matt Giroveanu and Rosemarie Mitchell. It is under the direction of Nic Davies.

ReGroup is currently presenting a rare revival of Green's The House of Connelly, the first play presented by The Group Theatre. They will also offer a reading Feb 2nd at 7 PM of Green's adaptation of Richard Wright's novel Native Son. www.regrouptheatre.org
