Manhattan Musical Theatre Lab presents a staged reading of TAKE ONE, a new musical comedy with book by Jay Freeman, music & lyrics by Jeff Ward. The reading will be directed by Nancy Robillard with musical direction by Dina Pruzhansky.

Michelangelo, Richard Rodgers and God light up the musical stage in this story of the disastrous first versions of three great things. Sweeping in historical scope and thrillingly tuneful, Take One shows that the act of creation is always messierand more hilarious than we've been led to believe, even for the gods.

TAKE ONE features Raymond Bokhour ("Mr. Cellophane" in Chicago, Broadway, Ambassador Theatre/ ), Dewey Cadell (New Girl in Town), Alex Goley (Cloned!), Carl Howell (Disney's Aladdin International Tour), Megan Stern (Be The Death of Me), Keith Varney (I Got Fired), and Annie Watkins (The Bardy Bunch).

The reading will take place this Thursday, December 11th, at 5:30 PM at the Snapple Theater Center (210 West 50th Street between Broadway & 8th Ave.). Advance Tickets available here: $20.00 ; Students and Seniors:$15.00. For more information, visit www.artful.ly/manhattan-musical-theatre-lab/store/events/432.
