Award-winning Hearst Media journalist Joe Meyers, who also pens the online entertainment blog "Joe's View," hosts the series which will be available on the first of every month in 2015.

Conversations with Lucille Lortel Award-winning playwright and screenwriter Jonathan Tolins (Buyer and Cellar, Twilight of the Golds, TV's Queer as Folk) and Derek Ahonen, playwright and Co-Founder of The Amoralists Theatre Company (The Bad and the Better, The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side, and one of NYTheatre.com's 2012 people of the year) launch the series and are now available for free streaming online at WildRoot.org.

"OFF BOOK is a collection of intimate conversations with leading playwrights, actors, directors, designers, dramaturgs and producers that was born out of my love for the theatre and the artists who make it," said journalist and OFF BOOK host Meyers. "We want to give our listeners a candid look what it takes to make theatre today."

Each monthly installment in the OFF BOOK series will be accompanied by media related to the month's featured theatre-maker as well as conclusions and additional insights from journalist Meyers.

"We've lined up an outstanding roster of influential theatre makers to chat with Joe for the first season of the series," said Sean Hudock, Executive Producer of The Wild Root Company. "The combination of these inspiring voices and Joe's engaging journalistic style has amounted to a very special collection of stories that will give our listeners an incredible look at the inner workings of telling stories for the stage."
