Tommy Tune and an overflow audience at The Triad on 72nd street met Patrick Rinn last night, and Broadwayworld was also there.

Patrick Rinn (Creator). Known for creating the always-enticing Rose Garden, Patrick was making his his Off-Broadway debut in his first one-man show. His showbiz career began at the age of 11 playing Young Patrick in a local theater production of Mame, and went on to study theater and dance in the Boston area. He received his BFA in Performance & Choreography at Emerson College and received a full scholarship with The Boston Ballet where he performed with Rudolf Nureyev, Baryshnikov, Suzanne Farrel and Gesley Kirkland. While in Graduate school at Emerson College, Patrick was hired as a Production Assistant on the out-of-town tryout of Grand Hotel, which brought him to NYC, where he became the personal assistant to 10-time Tony Award winner Tommy Tune. He's now the production manger for Mr. Tune's one-man show, currently touring the country. This October marks his 27th year working with Mr. Tune.

Peter Gregus (Director) has helped put together one person shows for Kelly Kinsella (How To Put On a One-Person Show, When Thoughts Attack), Russell Fisher (Triad) and many others. He has directed & choreographed many events for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS including 13 years on their fund raiser/flesh-fest Broadway Bares. He adapted and directed June Havoc's 1963 play Marathon 33 (Pittsburgh Playhouse) with his writing partner Tome Cousin, which continues to be produced around the country. He can also be seen nightly in the role he created 10 years ago in Jersey Boys on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre.

Since arriving in New York 27 years ago from Boston, Patrick Rinn has been working for ten time Tony Award winner Tommy Tune as his production manager for his touring show, Taps, Tunes & Tall Tales. He has also worked as a production supervisor for such music legends as Diana Ross, Prince, Paul Simon and Patti LaBelle to mention just a few, and is also currently working wardrobe at Chicago The Musical on Broadway.

Patrick Rinn is now took the leap and made his entrance from backstage to centerstage with the debut of his one-man show, "I Never Promised You ... Rose Garden". The show is an autobiographical journey of a young boy's dream to become a performer and his determination not be beaten down from blows that life has dealt him, as he triumphs to finally find his place in show business. The twist??? The audience decides how each performance will end!
