Barbara Ligeti and Wishing Well Productions by special arrangement with The Cherry Lane Theatre are presenting the world premiere production of Frank Strausser's PSYCHO THERAPY – a new play about couples therapy…for three. Directed by Alex Lippard, preview performances of PSYCHO THERAPY begin January 19 prior to an official press opening of January 29 at The Cherry Lane Theatre. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the press meet and greet yesterday and brings you complete photo coverage below!
In PSYCHO THERAPY, Lily's fiancée Phillip blows off couples therapy and Dorian, her hot young ex-boyfriend, jumps in to fill the void. When the trio ends up on the couch together, only therapist Nancy Winston can untangle the kinks. Frank Strausser's insanely entertaining new comedy opens the door to a new option - couples therapy for three.
Design team for PSYCHO THERAPY is Michael V. Moore (Set Designer), Amanda Bujak (Costume Designer), Amy Altadonna (Sound Designer), Jeff Croiter (Lighting Designer) and Allison Leyton-Brown (Composer).
Performances of PSYCHO THERAPY begin January 19 and runs through February 25 on a schedule of Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00pm; Saturdays at 3:00pm and 8:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm and 7:00pm. Tickets for PSYCHO THERAPY are $66 and can be purchased by calling 212-352-3101 or online at www.psychotherapytheplay.com. There will be $20 student rush tickets at the theatre prior to each performance.
