Kate Baldwin and Conor Ryan, the stars of the Keen Company production of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Greenwald and Lippa, will head over to the recording studio on April 6th, to preserve the 2015 Off-Broadway Cast Recording for Broadway Records. A June 16th release is planned. Andrew Lippa and Michael Croiter will produce the album. Musical Director is Lily Lang. This recording will include the premiere of the new song, "Trouble with Men," as well as new orchestrations and two songs from the score never before recorded. Check out @BwayRecords on Twitter for live updates from the recording session on April 6.

Performances for this acclaimed revival of John & Jen continue through April 4th only at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues).

John & Jen is an early work from celebrated composer Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, I Am Harvey Milk) and lyricist Tom Greenwald, which premiered Off-Broadway in 1995. Off-Broadway: Giant (Public Theatre; Drama Desk Award nomination). Other New York credits: Opening Doors at Zankel Hall, five Encores!. Conor Ryan recently made his Broadway debut as part of the ensemble and as the understudy for Prince Topher in the Broadway production of Cinderella. Most recently, Off-Broadway audiences have seen him in The Fortress of Solitude at The Public Theater. His regional credits include West Virginia Public Theatre. His training includes a BFA in Musical Theatre from University of Michigan, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School.

Since its formation, Broadway Records has quickly become one of the preeminent record labels in its industry. From offering cast albums for major Broadway shows (i.e. the recent revival of Side Show and the Grammy nominated Broadway cast recording of Matilda The Musical) to preserving shorter run Broadway shows (i.e. Bonnie & Clyde), Broadway Records believes in delivering the best cast recordings to its customers. BroadwayWorld.com recently nominated 19 of Broadway Records' albums for their inaugural 2014 Album Awards. In addition to its emphasis on delivering first rate sound on all recordings, Broadway Records believes strongly in providing a complete cast album experience by packing cast album booklets with a plethora of photos from the show, lyrics and more.

Broadway Records also believes in leaving the world a better place than we found it. This is the reason behind albums such as "From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook" (with 100% of our profits going to the Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation), "A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream" (with 100% of our profits going to the 12.14 Foundation), "An Evening with Norbert Leo Butz" (with 100% of the profits going to the Angel Band Project) and "Shapiro Sisters: Live Out Loud - Live at 54 BELOW" (with a portion of the proceeds going to "No Bully").
