Natascia Diaz Joins THE BEST IS YET TO COME, 6/16-19

Actress Natascia Diaz, who received wide acclaim in The Public Theater's concert production of The Capeman at the Delacorte Theatre, will step in for Sally Mayes for six performances of critically acclaimed musical revue THE BEST IS YET TO COME: THE MUSIC OF Cy Coleman, part of Americas Off Broadway at 59E59 Theaters.

Ms. Diaz will perform from Thursday, June 16 - Sunday, June 19 while Ms. Mayes fulfills a prior engagement.

Filled with "sass, flash and old-fashioned va-va-voom!' (New York Post), THE BEST IS YET TO COME: THE MUSIC OF Cy Coleman is a "finger-snapping, hard-charging, shiny-looking revue" (New York Times). Featuring favorites from Coleman's Broadway shows (Little Me, Sweet Charity, Seesaw, On The Twentieth Century, Barnum, City of Angels, The Will Rogers Follies, The Life); pop hits made famous by Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand; and new never-heard-before show-stoppers written toward the end of Coleman's prolific life, Rex Reed of the New York Observer advises ‘Join the ovation for the happiest show in town!'

The Rubicon Theatre production of THE BEST IS YET TO COME: THE MUSIC OF Cy Coleman, devised and directed by David Zippel, runs through Sunday, July 3 at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:00 PM; Friday at 8:00 PM; Saturday at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM; and Sunday at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
