Michael & Edie Plays Access Theater, Closes 12/19

Following the critical acclaim of her EST Marathon play, Anniversary, The Greenpoint Division will produce the premiere of Rachel Bonds' Michael & Edie at Access Theater this December. The production is directed by Nature Theater of Oklahoma's Robert Saenz de Viteri and stars Stephanie Wright Thompson (Samuel and Alasdair: A Personal History of the Robot War, Another Part of the Forest, Have You Seen Steve Steven?).

Rachel Bonds is an Affiliated Artist with New Georges, and a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre's Youngblood company. Last June, her play Anniversary was singled out among the EST Marathon plays by the New York Times. Actress Stephanie Wright Thompson was recently seen in the Brick Theater's Samuel and Alasdair: A Personal History of the Robot War, which won three New York Innovative Theater Awards including Outstanding EnsemblE. Wright Thompson also received praise from the New York Times for her performances in TempOdyssey at New Jersey Rep and Another Part of the Forest at Peccadillo Theater.

The cast also includes: Jocelyn Kuritsky (The Chocolate Factory, Target Margin, Clubbed Thumb, Woodshed Collective, PS122, 13P), Gabel Eiben (Nature Theater of Oklahoma, Siti Company, Actors Theatre of Louisville), Matthew Micucci ("Criminal Minds", "What I Like About You", "Beyond The Break") and Jacob Wilhelmi (Samsara, presented by Playwrights Horizons, Actors Theatre of Louisville).
