Michael Blevins Returns To The Hudson Guild Theater With COUNT TO TEN 10/28-11/1

Michael Blevins, most widely known for his portrayal of ‘Mark' in the screen version of the Broadway hit, "A Chorus Line", will return to the stage after several years of working on the other side, directing and teaching. His new musical Count To Ten is an official selection of the 2009 New York Musical Theatre Festival. Blevins joins a cast of twenty one who are currently or were once a student of his at the Centenary Young Performer's Workshop in New Jersey. Along with his performances in Richard Attenborough's "Chaplin" with Robert Downey Jr. and Woody Allen's "Zelig", Michael also appeared on Broadway in Bring Back Birdie with Donald O'Connor and Chita Rivera, Little Me, where he worked with choreographers Peter Gennaro and Bob Fosse and the Tony winning musical, The Tap Dance Kid in which he created the role of 'Winslow'. After his years on Broadway and in film Blevins went on to teach and direct in New York and internationally. In 2003 he formed The Group Theatre Too with producer Justin Boccitto where he brought in many colleagues to act as an Artistic Advisory Board including Maurice Hines, Nicole Fosse and Chita Rivera.

After playing to sold out houses at the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Count To Ten runs for extended performances at The Hudson Guild Theater, October 28th, 29th, 30h at 8pm and October 31st and November 1st at 2pm.
