Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Artistic Director) are pleased to announce casting for Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming world premiere of Daniel Goldfarb's play CRADLE AND ALL directed by Tony nominee Sam Buntrock. The two-person cast will feature Tony nominee Maria Dizzia (In The Next Room, or The Vibrator Play; The Drunken City) and Greg Keller (33 Variations in Los Angeles, The Seagull at CSC).

CRADLE AND ALL is the new title of the play that had previously been announced under the title of The Extinction Method.

The limited engagement of CRADLE AND ALL will start previews Tuesday, May 10 and open Wednesday, May 25 at Manhattan Theatre Club at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Annie and Nate have a baby who won't sleep. Claire and Luke are losing sleep over the decision to get married and start a family. In adjacent Brooklyn Heights apartments, Daniel Goldfarb's newest and wittiest look at love, sex, commitment and parenthood unfolds and no one will rest until the truth between each of these couples is spoken.

The creative team for CRADLE AND ALL includes: Neil Patel (scenic design), Mattie Ullrich (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Jill BC DuBoff (sound design).

Mandy Greenfield, MTC's Artistic Producer, is teaming up with Daniel Goldfarb on their fourth world premiere production together with CRADLE AND ALL. In her new capacity at MTC, Greenfield collaborates with Lynne Meadow on all artistic policy and takes the lead in programming and executing the work at MTC's Off-Broadway Stage I at New York City Center. MTC's production of THE WHIPPING MAN by Matthew Lopez marked Greenfield's first production as Artistic Producer.

MTC's 2011 spring Broadway season at the Samuel J. Friedman includes the critically acclaimed world premiere of David Lindsay-Abaire's GOOD PEOPLE directed by Daniel Sullivan and Sierra Boggess and Tyne Daly in a new production of Terrence McNally's MASTER CLASS directed by Stephen Wadsworth. In addition to CRADLE AND ALL, MTC's Off-Broadway spring season includes the New York premiere of Matthew Lopez's THE WHIPPING MAN directed by Doug Hughes, which will end its limited engagement at New York City Center - Stage I on Sunday, April 10.

Maria Dizzia (Annie/Claire) received a 2010 Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Featured Actress for her portrayal of 'Mrs. Daldy' in Lincoln Center Theater's Broadway production of In the Next Room or The Vibrator Play. Off-Broadway credits include: The Hallway Trilogy, The Drunken City, Eurydice, The Wooden Breeks, Pullman Car Hiawatha, Apparition, Alice the Magnet, Cause for Alarm, Gone Missing. Regional: Not Waving (WTF), Songs of the Dragon (Yale Rep), Trouble in Mind (Baltimore Center Stage), Blur (Dallas Theater Center), Fetes De La Nuit (Berkeley Repertory Theater), Unusual Acts of Devotion & Sheridan (La Jolla Playhouse), Proof (Geva Theater), Romeo and Juliet (ASF), A Midsummer's Night Dream (Shakespeare Santa Cruz) TV: "Louie," "Fringe," "Smith," "Law & Order," and "Law & Order: CI." Greg Keller (Nate/Luke) originated the role of 'Mike Clark' in Moises Kaufman's 33 Variations and recently reprised the role at The Ahmanson Theater in LA with Jane Fonda. New York credits include The Seagull (with Dianne Wiest and Alan Cumming at CSC), Smudge (Women's Project), That Pretty Pretty... (Rattlestick), Reborning (The Public/SPF), Telethon (Clubbed Thumb), Steve & Idi (Rattlestick), and six plays at The Flea Theater as a member of The Bats. Regional: Denver Center, Arena Stage, Florida Stage, and eight plays at Berkshire Theatre Festival. Greg holds an MFA in acting from NYU, and was a Lila Acheson Wallace Playwrighting Fellow at The Juilliard School, where he was a two-time Lecomte du Nouy Prize winner. His plays have been produced at The Cherry Lane and LAByrinth Theater Company. His play Dutch Masters will be produced this summer at Berkshire Theatre Festival. Greg is a member of LAByrinth Theater Company and Partial Comfort Productions. Greg was born and raised in Manhattan.
