Two-time Grammy Award Winning Producer, Michael J. Moritz Jr. and Broadway's Kevin Duda are partnering to produce the Off Broadway Cast Album of Mad Libs Live!

The original Off Broadway cast - Jeanfranco Cardenty, Lindsey Brett Carothers, Max Joseph, Melody Madarasz, Zachary Noah Piser and Santina Umbach - heads into the studio to record the new album on March 10, which will be released in Spring 2017.

Mad Libs Live! received its World Premiere in 2015 at New World Stages and features music by Jeff Thomson(Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation Award) and book and lyrics by Robin Rothstein (Samuel French Short Play Festival Winner). Based on the popular Mad Libs© series created by Leonard Stern (The Honeymooners, Get Smart) and Roger Price (Droodles). Performance rights for Mad Libs Live! are licensed by R&H Theatricals.

With a script and songs full of blanks that are hilariously filled in by audience members and an infectious pop score, Mad Libs Live! fully embraces the spirit of the "World's Greatest Word Game!"

Meet Virtuosa, Gogo, Geyser, and Merrily, four teenagers from Blankville Central High School with little in common, who come together to form a singing group to try and win the title, "Teen Superstars!" Mad Libs Live! is set during the live, televised competition when the teens realize that the songs they are about to sing have words missing. Thank goodness these discombobulated kids have The Audience there to help them fill in the blanks!

But...will this be enough to help them win the competition?

Mad Libs Live! was originally produced by Ava,Max and Peter Cane with Robin Rothstein & Kevin Duda Productions.
